Sue organises grants to producers and processors of added value products within the Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Objective One area. Eligible items include design and set up costs for brochures, flyers, packaging, web site development and other promotional activities. The scheme also includes a capital element, which may be used for capital items for specific marketing activity.

Prior to joining Cornwall Taste of the West Sue was employed by China Clay Area LEADER which gave her a grounding in to the vagaries of European funding! Previous to that Sue worked for many years in personnel with a major china clay company in Cornwall and was editor of its house journal.

Ruth is responsible for acquiring, carrying out and disseminating research in order to provide the region's food and drink producers with a central source of market information.  

Ruth is helping to plan a series of newsletters, fact sheets and workshops, with the emphasis on topics producers themselves have identified as being important. Ruth lives in mid-Cornwall on a five-acre smallholding and joined Cornwall Taste of the West after gaining a broad-ranging honours degree in food in 2001.
