Carrie is the
technical advisor for the Capital Grant element of the Cornwall
Food and Drink Partnership Scheme, which is run in conjunction with
Business Link. The aim is to support producers, caterers, wholesalers,
retailers and eating establishments that use local food, in the
Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Objective One area, to purchase
capital equipment that is key to the processing and display of their
products. She previously ran a similar grant scheme under Objective
5b and has worked at Taste of the West since 2000. Carrie has a
degree in food management and before joining the company, she worked
for an international soft drinks manufacturer and at a national
bakery.
